How's Wyoming's election season shaping up for women?

Updated: Jun 12, 2022

ps — We've said it before, and we'll say it again: Wyoming needs to do a better job electing women. There's also ample evidence that the number of women who run for office is largely dependent on "gatekeepers" who recruit and approve candidates. Our partners at RepresentWomen continue to advocate for systems change that will help women Run Win Serve Lead. We're looking forward to bringing policy solutions that will help women in Wyoming do just that: run, win, serve, and lead.

pps — There are some bright spots. For example, there's a chance that women 40 and under could be elected to 3 of the Big 5 Executive Branch offices. That could be a game changer — especially for the next generation of young women considering careers in public service.
