• Address your reps formally: Use Rep. or Sen. + their last name

• Be brief: Make 2-3 points drawn from talking points or research

• Get personal: Your story is compelling!

• Be respectful: We have a citizen legislature

• Ask them to add you to their email update list

• Thank them for their service!
